FALL FESTIVAL

Join us on October 24th for baptisms, games, candy, hay ride, food, and much more at our annual Fall Festival on October 24th at the Cleveland YMCA from 5:30-7:30pm. Please candy donations to the church during the month of October. Bring your own chair, a warm blanket, and remember to bring a friend. Friendly costumes are welcome.

C4K WORSHIP, ROUND UP, & A SKATING PARTY!

Hey Kids!
We've got some pretty fun stuff coming up in the next week that I wanted to make sure you know about.
1st we've got C4K Worship kicking off this Sunday the 8th at 9:24! This is a time to have some fun and worship our awesome God! So bring your parents and friends!

2nd we've got Round Up that Sunday evening starting at 6:00! We'll have pony rides, a petting zoo, square dancing, food, and a cake and pie auction!

3rd we've got the Dynomite, out-o-sight, Skate Night for K - 6th graders at Cleveland Skate Place from 6:00 - 8:00. $2 per skater new Kindergarteners come meet some new friends and new 6th graders come for one last fun night with the Kids group before you start your adventure in Youth Group!

Hope to see all of you at all of these fun events!

Children's Christmas Service

The Church at Grace Point Presents:
The Children's Christmas Service on Wednesday, December 16th starting at 6:30. Come and celebrate the birth of Jesus with us as our kids from kindergarten through 5th grade perform the play "The Not-So-Silent Night" and sings songs to the Savior. We will also be joined by our C4K Worship dancers for a special Christmas song C4K style.

Come join us at the Cleveland YMCA for our Fall Festival on OCTOBER 25th from 5:00 until 7:30.
We'll start with a baptism at 5:00 and then move outside for some fun, food, games, candy, hay ride, pony rides, and more. Dress up like something fun (please nothing scary for my sake. I scare easily). We'll see you then!

Our Elementary kids are taking time to share Christ’s love by collecting new pairs of shoes and socks for orphans all over the world. You can help by donating new shoes and socks of all sizes from toddlers to teenagers through the month of August. Bring shoes in their box to the welcome desk and include a family picture and a letter to the child who will receive the shoes.
Shoes for Orphan Souls has distributed more than 1.6 million pairs of new shoes to at-risk children in the United States and to orphans in 55 countries around the world.

June 1st through the 4th at the Church at Grace Point from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Kids from Kindergarten through 5th grade will explore a crowded Roman marketplace...tiptoe past Roman guards...encourage Christians in an underground church...and visit Paul for daily discoveries about God's love!
Rome...where the Bible comes to life! Try on a toga...nibble on rat (actually it's chicken)...and experience the power of Scripture and the courage of the early church!
Rome...where the Apostle Paul is your Bible teacher! Each day kids will visit Paul's cell, soaking in Scripture as Paul shares what he's writing and applies it to kids' experiences. To hear from Paul, chained to a Roman guard...it's memorable learning--and powerful!

Hey Kids, bring your parents to The Church at Grace Point at 9:24 every Sunday morning for C4K Worship. A FAMILY worship time were kids and parents can dance, sing, laugh, and have a great time worshiping our Heavenly Father TOGETHER. And directly after C4K Worship, all you kids from Kindergarten to 3rd grade will get to learn, pray, and findout what God's word has for you during C4K (Church 4 Kids) @ 10:00. Which is a good time for you to send Mom and Dad to Sunday morning Worship Service so they can learn, pray, and find out what God's word has for them.

What better day to celebrate then the day our Lord and Savior rose from the grave! Jesus paid it all and I am so grateful.
I had so much fun during our Easter Egg Hunt. The doughnut contest was awesome. I look forward to next year.

ROUND UP 2008

It's Round Up time again folks. Sunday August 17th. We'll have KidStuf at 9:00, Worship at 10:00, and at 6:00 we'll have a bar-b-q, live music, a petting zoo, pony rides, and more. It's going to be a whole lot of fun so put your western gear on and get ready for a foot stomping, ho down having, worship jamboree.

Some of our Grace Point kids (and adults) got to hang out with Smokey, the Tennessee Volunteers mascot, on Tuesday. Everybody had a blast and Smokey was one cool hound. A big thank you goes out to Michael Durham who set this up since he is close friends with Smokey (I think they use the same groomer). And thank you Smokey.

KIDSTUF 2008/2009 will be kicking back up on August 17th with our new theme

I BELIEVE IN JESUS!

Some people might think it sounds crazy, but when you know Jesus like we do, it would be crazy to not believe in him. We're going to love Jesus out loud and we're not going to care what people say. The 2008/2009 KidStuf is all about showing our love for Jesus even when others think we are crazy for it. We want the world to know that we believe in Jesus because he's real, he died for everyone, and he lives today.

Current Children's Ministry/Nursery Needs

I am currently looking for 15 people to work at the 3 Nursery Check-in Desks. Each of these volunteers will serve from 9:45 until 10:15 one Sunday Morning a Month.

VBS

The Jerusalem Marketplace VBS went very well last week thanks to everyone who took time to contribute to this unique experience. We have had several compliments from children and parents alike, but the true reason to count this VBS a success is the 28 children who made that all important decision to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
